反対意見には,家族の反対でも,議論で説得し,権威で勝とうとしてはいけない。権威を使っての勝利は,真の勝利ではなく,単なる幻にすぎないからである。
When you meet with opposition, even if it should be from your husband or your children, endeavor to overcome it by argument and not by authority, for a victory dependent upon authority is unreal and illusory.

その５：
他人の権威を尊重するには及ばない。なぜなら,それが尊敬に値しない権威であると露見するのが普通だからである。
Have no respect for the authority of others, for there are always contrary authorities to be found.
