【"hear"：２つの意味あり。一つは「聞こえてくる音を耳で聞くこと（受動的に「耳にする」）。議会でのヒアリングなど、"公的に"意志をもって聞く】
【"listen"：自分から耳を傾けて聞く。"listen"には公的な意味はない。】

(1-1) Did you hear any unusual sound last night?
[昨夜何か変わった音を聞いたか？]

(1-2) I want to be heard.
[提訴したい。（注：個人的に話を聞いてもらいたいのではない）]

(2) You'd better get his secretary on your side. He listens to her.
[彼の秘書を味方にしておいたほうがいい。彼は彼女の言うことには耳を貸すから。]
