I had been a passionate advocate of equality for women ever since in adolescence I read Mill on the subject. This was some years before I became aware of the fact that my mother used to campaign in favour of women's suffrage in the 'sixties. Few things are more surprising than the rapid and complete victory of this cause throughout the civilised world. I am glad to have had a part in anything so successful. 出典:he Autobiography of Bertrand Russell, v.1, chap. 6: Principia Mathematica, 1967 詳細(PCサイト): http://russell-j.com/beginner/AB16-180.HTM
