【"pull"：もっとも一般的な「引っ張る」。】
【"draw"："pull"よりも軽い力で引っ張る】
【"drag"：自然に抗して引っ張ることで、精力をかなり使う含みがある。】
【"tug"：小刻みに力をいれて引っ張ること。】

(1) The engine pulled a long line of freight cars.

＜用例１＞
If once a week employees were allowed to pull the employer's nose and otherwise indicate what they thought of him, the nervous tension for them would be relieved, but for the employer, who also has his troubles, this would not mend matters.
