【"permit"：公式な許可という含みを持つ言葉。】
【"allow"：非公式に個人としての判断や裁量によって認めること（許すこと）を匂わせる言葉。また、止める力がないかあるいは職務怠慢のために、よくない事態の発生を防ぐことができなかったという意味にも使う。】
