【"ingenious"：発明工夫の才能があること。】
【"ingenuous"：頭の単純な人のことで、ものに対しては使わない。"ingen"の後に"u"がくると意味が大きく違うことになるので要注意。】

(1-1) Ingeniously he made a writing desk out of a few discarded sticks.
[彼は捨ててあった棒きれから器用に文机を作った。]

(1-2) Those toys you have there are all so ingenious.
[お宅にある玩具はみなよく工夫されていますね。]

(2-1) Don't look overjoyed when you win. It would seem ingenuous to accept invitation to the celebration too quickly.

(2-2) He is quite ingenuous actually. The hot air he puts on doesn't fool anybody.
