【"ignore"：根の深い動機を持って「無視する」。】
【"disregard"：何らかの都合によって（対象を）「とりあげないでおく(注意を払わずに軽視する)」あるいは、「無視する」場合でも軽視や軽蔑につながらない場合が多い。】

(1-1) He ignored her all evening.
[彼はその晩ずっと彼女を故意に無視した。]

(1-2) Let's ignore all those hostile comments on our new project.

(2-1) You come to grief if you disregard the traffic law.
