【"able"：五官の身体的能力も含めて､常識的に能力として認められている場合に使用】
【"capable"：五官のような単純な，現実の能力ではなく，もっと複雑な､時には潜在能力を含んだ言葉】

(1) The baby is now able to walk (speak).
[その赤ちゃんはもう歩ける（しゃべれる）。]

(2) Besides being a talented stenographer, she is also capable of forging official documents.
[彼女は，有能な速記者である以外に，公文書を偽造することだってやりかねない女だ。]

(3) He has the ability to draw from his pupils their latent capabilities.
[彼は，生徒から（外から見たのではわからない）潜在能力を引き出すことのできる人だ。。]
