つまり、「・・・である。」は事実命題であるが、「・・・すべき（である）」は事実命題ではなく、当為命題であるということです。（ 哲学においては、「どれだけ事実命題を積み重ねようと、推論によって当為命題を導き出せない」とされています。）
ヒュームの法則：事実命題から当為命題は推論（論証）によって導きだすことはできない。（両者の間には「断絶」がある！＝ Hume's guillotine ：ヒュームのギロチン）
