知らぬが仏（事実を知らないが故に心を乱されず仏のようにいられる）。
終末が近いと思った人々（キリスト教の終末思想を信じた人達）が、自分だけでなく周囲の多くの人々を不幸にしたことは歴史が示しています。終末は西暦1000年、2000年にくると喧伝されましたが「不発？」に終わりました。次は西暦3000年・・・ は遠すぎるので、2050年くらいに設定する人がでてくるでしょうか？
