 年をとってゆき、自分が活躍できる世界が狭まると、それに伴い自分が関心を持つ事柄も狭まっていく可能性がある。孫でもできれば孫の目を通して自分の目も広がってゆくであろうが、そういうこともなく、年寄りとばかりつきあうようになるとしだいに世界が色あせてきがちとある。
