★ realistic (adj) [現実主義の；現実的な；実際的な；写実派の；実在論的な

『東大英単』p.74説明：・・・日常会話では,「実現可能な,現実的な,実際的な」といったニュアンスが強い。結びつく言葉に応じて意味が決まる場合もある。たとえば,realistic novel は「写実的な小説」だが,realistic policies は「現実に行うことができる政策」。
* real (a): 真の，本当の；心からの；現実の,実際の；真にせまった；不動産の；実数の
* realism (n): accepting and dealing with life and its problems in a practical way, without being influenced by feelings or false ideas; the showing of things as they really are.
