　日本でも共働きが増え、女性が経済力をつけるにつれてこのようなこと（”連れ合い”の快楽に反対すること）は少なくなってきています。ただし、「夫婦間にはある程度の社会的距離が必要である」というアドバイスはまだ必要な人は多そうです。
