(1) 「恋は盲目(love is blind)」のように、感情過多な意味合いを表す場合
-1. Love blinds us to all imperfections. （あばたもえくぼ）
(2) (1)とは正反対の，無感覚な状態を表す場合
-1. Such thinking blinds one to the joy of constructive endeavor.（この種の考えは、建設的な喜びに対して人を無感覚にしてします。
-2. Our fate is in the hands of blind chance.（我々の運命は、非常の偶然というものに支配されている。）
Ｒ英単語・熟語集の用例とはできるだけ重複しないようにしますが、用例が少ない場合はどうしても重複してしまいます。あしからず。
