Those who 'lie' with a bold attitude, claiming to be fearless (such as members of parliament and others), often lose their confidence when their lies are exposed and tend to adopt a pitifully defensive demeanor. Take Motohiko Saito, for example?while he tries to maintain a 'bold attitude,' it seems evident even to himself that such an effort is unsustainable. His 'attempt to appear composed' only ends up looking more comical.
