As people grow and gain confidence in themselves, their sense of fear gradually diminishes or disappears. However, if catastrophic events such as wars or major earthquakes occur nearby, the sense of fear among many people increases. It is best if fear can be minimized, but as long as sudden disasters happen or the feeling "even if I am to die eventually, I do not want to die in pain" exists, fear is unlikely to disappear entirely.
