　私の好きな単語（wprds）を２０ばかりあげるようにとのご依頼です。そのようなことは今まで考えてみたこともありませんでしたが、お手紙を頂いてから、そのリストを作ってみました。ただし、時が異なれば、たぶんかなり違うものになると思われますので、余り真面目にとらないでください。リストは以下の通りです。

You ask what are my twenty favourite words. I had neve before asked myself such a question, but since your letter came I have made a list which at another time would probably be quite different, so you must not take it very seriously. The list is as follows:
