【豆知識】
「レトルト食品の「レトルト」と"言い返す","反論する"の「retort」と関係あるのか?
 retortという英単語はもともとは"ねじり返す"という意味で、レトルト食品を作る際の密封加熱殺菌用の容器がなじれた形状をしていたため、この容器のことを「レトルト」と呼び、その容器で作られた食品をレトルト食品と"日本では"呼ぶようになったそうです。
